Our Story
We met online, which isn't uncommon these days, especially in the Silicon Valley. It started with a simple message from Roberto to Kevin, “Hi, How are you doing?” Neither of us were looking for a relationship at the time.
We chatted, emailed and texted each other for a couple weeks. In early October 2009, Roberto invited Kevin to join him and a friend on a road trip to the beach. This was going to be the first time we met in person. At the last minute, Roberto's friend wasn't able to go along. That left him with a decision - to cancel the trip altogether, or to meet Kevin, and we go on the road trip together.
After much deliberation, Roberto picked Kevin up as planned, and we began what ended up being our first date. The most beautiful part was that neither of us realized it was our first date until we looked back on that day after we officially started dating. It was this day trip turned unexpected date that is the reason why we are all coming together on November 9th, 2014!

Nos conocimos en un cito de Internet, que no es poco común en estos días, especialmente en el Valle de Silicon. Todo comenzó con un simple mensaje de Roberto a Kevin, “Hola, ¿Como estas?” En ese momento ninguno de los dos estábamos buscando una relación.
Charlamos, enviamos correos electrónicos y nos mandamos mensajes de texto, un par de semanas. Al principió de Octubre del 2009, Roberto invito a Kevin a una cita con él y una amiga, a un viaje a la playa. Esta iba ser la primera vez que nos íbamos a conocer en persona. En el ultimo momento, la amiga de Roberto no pudo ir al viaje. Esto dejo a Roberto con la decisión – de cancelar el viaje completo, o conocer a Kevin, e ir al viaje juntos.
Después de mucha deliberación, Roberto fue por Kevin como se había planeado, y comenzamos lo que termino siendo nuestra primera cita. La parte más hermosa es que ninguno de nosotros nos dimos cuenta que era nuestra primera cita, hasta después que empezamos a salir como pareja oficialmente. ¡Este viaje inesperado, es la razón por la cual todos nos uniremos el 9 de Noviembre del 2014!
